Since its foundation in 1978, the A&C company has been working with ABB systems and at the beginning of the 1990s with ABB process control systems (MP200, Advant, 800xA). Following an initial partnership as a channel partner, in 2012 A&C became the first Austrian company to be appointed as an ABB Authorized Value Provider for Control Systems – 800xA
drag and bot GmbH is a spin-off of the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology and Automation (IPA) in Stuttgart. drag and bot has developed a manufacturer-independent software for the straightforward and intuitive programming of industrial robots. As a stand-out feature, this has a graphic user surface, which facilitates fast and flexible program creation per drag and drop using pre-produced functional blocks.
At the beginning of 2020, A&C became a system integrator and premium distributor for drag and bot.
A&C has employed EPLAN for internal company projects for many years and at the end of 2016, set itself the task of strengthening this partnership with a certification. As a consequence, since 2017 EPLAN lists A&C Automationssysteme & Consulting GmbH as a certified company.
A&C makes constant efforts to expand its portfolio in the field of industrial automation and recently the company looked for a strong and reliable partner in the robotics area. This was found in the shape of EPSON and its general representative in Austria, MiniTec. As a result, A&C has been an EPSON integrator since 2018.
In May 2021 A&C started a partnership with Neurala, a leader in vision AI software, to help manufacturers implement advanced AI and automation on the factory floor. A&C Automationssysteme & Consulting GmbH has joined the Neurala VIA Authorized Partner program: a global network of integrators and distributors with expertise in helping manufacturers adopt automation and implement Industry 4.0 initiatives.
ProLeiT’s PLC-based process control systems with a uniform database for a diversity of system modules offer flexible applications and dispose over integrated MES functions and modules for batch handling, material management and much more besides. They are well established in the technical processing industries and various segments of the foods and beverage industry. These competences provide an ideal supplement to A&C’s long-term experience and know-how in various related branches.

The company enjoys a trustful business relationship with Rockwell Automation and offers the latest products and services for individual customer solutions.
Following individual Siemens projects in the 1980s and 1990s, in 2001 A&C began to step up its activities with PCS7. The share of PCS7 projects increased quickly and in recent years A&C has frequently planned, completed and put into operation PCS7 project with redundant servers (partly several) and numerous automation stations (standard, redundant, failsafe). These systems have been supplied both directly to the end customer market and plant builders. In 2012, A&C became a Siemens Solution Partner.
